Fans bid on commemorative game-worn Long Island Ducks jerseys
The Long Island Ducks' first-ever Heart Health Night Jersey Auction was a hit among fans at Bethpage Ballpark. Fans were able to place their bids on these special red jerseys, which were worn during the Ducks' 6-3 win over the York Revolution on Heart Health Night at the ballpark, presented by Northwell Health.
Bids started at $75 and were increased in minimum $10 increments. Bidding ran through the conclusion of the top of the seventh inning during the May 17 game against the Revolution, and fans were place their bids at the Waddle In Shop on the main concourse behind home plate. Net proceeds from the auction will benefit the American Heart Association via Northwell Health.
Below are the winning bidders from the Heart Health Night Jersey Auction. Fans can pick up their jerseys beginning on Thursday, May 18. The Waddle In Shop is open on game days from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and during the game from inside the ballpark only. On non-game days, the store is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
