The 2014 season has come to a close and it's time to turn our attention to preparing for 2015, but before we do, we couldn't move forward without saying "THANK YOU" one last time to the best fans in all of baseball - the "Faithful Flock" of Long Island Ducks fans.
"While the Ducks experienced many exciting milestones during the 2014 season, including welcoming an all-time league record 6,000,000th fan, 639th all-time sellout and 1,000th all-time win in team history, the best part was bringing smiles to over 300,000 faces," said Ducks President/GM Michael Pfaff. "We are blessed with great fan support, we appreciate each and every person that has come out to the ballpark this season, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2015."
While the action on the field won't pick back up until spring, 2015, watch for the Ducks in the community this fall and winter, as Long Island's favorite mascot, QuackerJack, along with Ducks staffers, coaches and players, are sure to make appearances at many of the Island's schools, sports leagues, holiday events, hospitals and parades.
