Opportunity for fans to exchange tickets from missed games

(Central Islip, N.Y., August 25, 2014) – The Long Island Ducks today announced that August 29 and 31, as well as September 1, 10 and 11, will be “Unused Ticket Days” at Bethpage Ballpark. If you could not make it out to a ballgame during the 2014 season and are still in possession of your unused tickets, the club is offering fans the chance to exchange them for ones of equal or lesser value at the Bethpage Ballpark box office, subject to availability.

“The Ducks are in the midst of an exciting race for the playoffs,” says Ducks president and general manager Michael Pfaff. “We hope that fans will take advantage of this great opportunity to utilize unused tickets from earlier this season and support the Flock in their fight for a postseason berth.”

Ticket holders interested in trading in their unused tickets can do so by visiting the Bethpage Ballpark box office. Tickets can be exchanged for games August 29, 31 or September 1 against the Camden Riversharks or September 10 or 11 against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. First pitch for the August 29 game is 7:05 p.m., first pitch for the August 31 games is 5:05, and the September 1, 10 and 11 games are all slated to begin at 6:35. A one dollar fee per ticket will be applied to account for the Suffolk County surcharge on all tickets printed.
