Proceeds from auction benefit the QuackerJack Foundation
(Central Islip, N.Y., August 2, 2014) – The Long Island Ducks annual Patriotic Jersey Auction was another success at Bethpage Ballpark this season. The Ducks wore the special camouflage jerseys during their 5-2 win against the Camden Riversharks on Friday, July 4 as well as their 2-1 win over the York Revolution on Saturday, August 2, which was Military Appreciation Night at Bethpage Ballpark, presented by Northrop Grumman.
Bids started at $75 and were increased in minimum $10 increments. Fans were able to place their bids at the Waddle In Shop from through August 2, as well as over the phone by calling (631) 940-3825 ext. 126 through Friday, August 1. Bidding ran through the conclusion of the top of the seventh inning during the August 2 game against the York Revolution. The winning bidders can be found below. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the QuackerJack Foundation, the charitable arm of the Long Island Ducks. All donations are tax deductible. The QuackerJack Foundation has contributed to thousands of non-profit and like organizations each year while bringing awareness to worthy programs and causes in need of assistance on Long Island.
