York jumped out to a 4-0 lead with a run in the third and three in the fourth off Ducks starter Pete Budkevics. A RBI single to center by Andres Perez and a three-run homer to right by Matt Spencer did the damage. Long Island responded with a five-run fourth against Revs starter Brett Tomko to take a 5-4 lead. A RBI fielder’s choice of the bat of Bryant Nelson, a three-run homer by Adam Bailey and a solo blast by Ralph Henriquez highlighted the scoring.

The Revolution took the lead back in the fifth on a sac fly by Mark Teahen and a run-scoring fielder’s choice off the bat of Salvador Paniagua. It stayed that way until the eighth inning when RBI singles to right by Nelson and Bailey put the Ducks in front 7-6.

Budkevics did not factor into the decision, tossing four innings, allowing four runs on seven hits with two strikeouts. Ian Snell (1-2) got the win after pitching a scoreless eighth, striking out two. Tomko (4-7) suffered the loss, tossing seven and two-thirds innings, yielding seven runs on nine hits while striking out eight. Jared Lansford earned his eighth save with a perfect ninth, striking out two.

Bailey, Ray Navarrete and Joash Brodin each had two hits to lead the Flock, with Bailey’s four RBI setting the pace.

The Ducks hit the road for nine games starting on Tuesday with the opener of a three-game series against the Lancaster Barnstormers. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. from Clipper Magazine Stadium. Fans can follow all the action live online, with streaming video and audio available on the Ducks official YouTube channel, Youtube.com/ducksbaseball. Southpaw Matt Way takes the mound for the Ducks against Barnstormers left-hander Rich Rundles.

First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m., with the Bethpage Ballpark gates opening at 6:05. Tickets for the game and all Ducks regular season home games are now on sale.
