Long Island opened the scoring in the third inning on a two-out RBI single to center field by Delta Cleary, Jr. off of Riversharks starter Wes Torrez. Camden tied the game in the seventh on a sacrifice fly to left by Mike Kerns off of Ducks starter Ian Marshall.

However, a sac fly to center in the bottom of the frame by Steve McQuail put the Ducks back on top 2-1. Dan Lyons added a solo home run to left in the eighth to increase the advantage to two.

Marshall (5-6) earned the win, tossing seven innings of one-run ball, allowing just four hits and two walks while striking out five. Torrez (4-5) took the loss, giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits and four walks in seven innings with three strikeouts. Amalio Diaz earned his fifth save of the season with a perfect ninth, striking out two.
