Q: What is the security policy at the ballpark?
A: To ensure the safety of all fans, the following items are not permitted into the park: weapons, chairs, animals (except for vision impaired) and coolers of any type. Bags, diaper bags, small purses and camera cases are allowed but are subject to inspection.
Q: What time do gates open?
A: Unless otherwise noted, gates open one hour prior to game time. For example, when game time is 7:05 p.m., gates open at 6:05 p.m. Gate time is also noted in each game recap. Q: Can I bring my own food or drink?
A: Ballpark rules prohibit outside food or beverages to be brought into the park. The concession stands sell a wide variety of food and beverages to satisfy most tastes. Also, water fountains are conveniently located on both sides of the main concourse.
Q: What is the policy when weather shortens or cancels the game?
A: If for any reason (rain, fog, etc.) less than 4 1/2 innings of a game are played (five full innings if the home team is trailing in the game), one of two scenarios will occur.
Scenario 1: The game is rescheduled to be played on an open date on the Ducks schedule. If this occurs, tickets do not need to be exchanged and are good for the newly scheduled game only.
Scenario 2: The game is rescheduled to be played as part of a doubleheader. When this happens, tickets for the cancelled game must be exchanged at the ballpark box office as soon as possible for a future 2013 Ducks regular season home game for a ticket of equal or lesser value. All games are subject to availability.
Q: My organization is holding a fundraiser or awarding prizes and would love to have something from the Ducks. How do I go about asking for a donation?
A: Anyone looking for a donation should fill out a Donation Request Form, which can be found HERE. In addition, all organizations should submit any information pertaining to their event. The requests may be submitted via fax at (631) 940-3800 or by mail at 3 Court House Drive, Central Islip, NY 11722, Attn: Long Island Ducks Community Relations Department. Please note, donations are processed approximately one month before your event date, so please be sure to get your requests in early.
Q: How do I get a player or QuackerJack to appear at my event?
A: Please contact the front office at (631) 940-3825 to schedule a player or mascot appearance at your event. We will check the date and time and will send you an appearance request form if the schedule permits. The form should be completed and returned ASAP in order ensure availability. Once your appearance is scheduled, we will call to confirm details.
Q: I'm interested in getting private one-on-one instruction from a Ducks player. What do I need to do for this?

A: Anyone interested in having a message on the message board during a Ducks game should e-mail their request at least 48 hours in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include all of the necessary information (name, age or event celebrating, date of game attending). Due to the overwhelming amount of requests, the Ducks cannot guarantee your message will be placed on the board, but every effort will be made to accommodate your request. Announcements are free!
Q: How do I get to sing the anthem at a Ducks game?
A: Anyone interested in singing the anthem should send a tape or CD singing the National Anthem a cappella to: Anthem Audition, Long Island Ducks, 3 Court House Drive, Central Islip, N.Y. 11722. You will be contacted if you are chosen to sing.
Q: How do I participate in an on-field promotion?
A: Members of the promotions crew will be walking around the ballpark choosing contestants at random. Contestants must be wearing sneakers.
