Biography:

Fisher joins the Ducks after being acquired in a trade from the Windy City Thunderbolts of the Frontier League. While with Windy City, the southpaw led the league with 138 innings pitched and was tied for the league lead with 120 strikeouts, four complete games and 20 games started. In addition, he was tied for second in the league in wins (10) and ranked third in ERA (2.80). The Oklahoma native was tied for third in the Frontier League with nine wins in 2016 and posted a 9-4 record with a 3.67 ERA, two complete games, one shutout and 86 strikeouts in 16 starts. Overall, he has spent four seasons with the Thunderbolts.

The 26-year-old began his career in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. He spent the 2013 season the rookie-level Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League. In 16 games (two starts), the University of Oklahoma alum was 2-3 with a 5.97 ERA and 29 strikeouts over 37 and two-thirds innings. He compiled a 4-2 collegiate record with a 2.42 ERA, one save and 65 strikeouts in 67 innings over 30 games (six starts) with the Sooners. Fisher was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the 22nd round of the 2013 amateur draft.
