QUACKERJACK STOPS BY OAKDALE

QJ gets fans ready to help ‘Finish the Mission’

(Oakdale, N.Y., Sept. 26, 2011) – Long Island Ducks’ mascot QuackerJack jumped in the Ducks’ Van and headed east to visit his friends in Oakdale. QJ wanted to spread the word about his favorite team, the Ducks, and let his fans in Oakdale know that the team has made it to this year’s Atlantic League Championship Series.

QJ and the Street Team traveled around town to share some quality time with his fans and inform them on how important it is to get out to the ballpark Wednesday, September 28 and Thursday, September 29 for the Ducks’ final home games of the season, Game One and Two of the Championship. The Ducks’ mascot even posed for photos and had some laughs with his friends throughout the day.

QuackerJack had plenty of fun and knows he can count on his friends in Oakdale for their support. QJ hopes to see you all at the ballpark during the championship!

The Long Island Ducks play their home games at Bethpage Ballpark and are in their 12^th season of play. Individual game tickets for the 2011 season are on sale now.
