QJ HELPS LIGHT FLANDERS DUCK
Helps ring in the holiday season
(Flanders, N.Y., Nov. 30, 2011) – Long Island Ducks mascot QuackerJack took a trip out east to Flanders to join in the ceremony for the annual lighting of the famous Flanders Duck. QJ joined families from all over Long Island for the momentous occasion.
While there, QuackerJack helped spread holiday cheer to all of those in attendance, posing for pictures with kids, signing autographs, and giving a big hug to Santa Claus. QJ, along with Santa Claus and Ducks players, will be at Bethpage Ballpark on Saturday, December 3 when the Ducks kick off the holiday season by opening up the Waddle In Shop and beginning their annual toy drive at 10:00 a.m. For more information, CLICK HERE.
