2011 KIDS CLUB DAY A HUGE SUCCESS

One-of-a-kind experience for Kids Club members

(Central Islip, N.Y., Sept. 17, 2011) – On September 17 at Bethpage Ballpark, the Long Island Ducks hosted their annual Kids Club Day, presented by the Ducks and Bethpage Federal Credit Union.

All Kids Club members were invited to a special day at the ballpark, exclusively for members and their families. The day included an all-access tour of the entire ballpark, including the Ducks’ clubhouse, bullpen, dugout, and the opportunity to run the bases. Long Island’s favorite mascot, QuackerJack, led the kids in stretches on the field before taking their chance to round the bases.

The day continued with a group photo with QJ in the outfield, along with meeting some of the Ducks’ players and Buddy Harrelson for an autograph session. Before it was over, all the kids enjoyed some lunch and received Kids Club member gifts.

Not only did the kids have a great time, but the parents enjoyed their day as well. The following is a testimonial from a parent who took part in the Kids Club Day:
